This par 72 course originally oponed in 1993 and was designed by Manuel Ferry Ruiz. The course is liberally covered with vegetation, lush green fairways are lined by palm,cork and fig trees, complemented by hillside views. There are many plans to turn El Plantío into a `real´ golf resort with a 5 star hotel being built, the clubhouse, proshop and reception buildings already quite impressive.

The course opens with a very demanding tee shot on a long, low handicap,stoke par 4 hole,and most unusually the course ends with a long par 3 hole. With large greens, wide fairways and no dead-zones.the course is suitable to the requirements and levels of all players.
